ABOUT THIS TOUR
Board a speedboat for the Phi Phi Islands on a full-day tour from Krabi, and island-hop through a stunning Andaman Sea archipelago. Cruise slowly past Viking Cave—known for its vivid murals and circling swallows— and Maya Bay, made famous from Leonardo Dicaprio's 'The Beach.' Pause for a buffet lunch at Koh Phi Phi Don, then cast off again to explore the islands’ thriving reefs and pocked, limestone cliffs. Discover the highlights of the Phi Phi Islands on a day trip with buffet lunch on Koh Phi Phi Don.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Check-in Point: Nopparat Thara Pier
You will be collected from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang or Tubkaek Beach in the morning, the exact pickup time will be indicated at time of confirmation.
Ko Phi Phi Leh
Cruise over to Koh Phi Phi Leh on a comfortable speed boat with a limited number of 45 seats. On the way we will pick up other guests staying at Railay Beach (if any).
Bamboo Island
The first stop will be on the tiny and flat island named Koh Pai, which is also known as Bamboo Island. It is covered by lush vegetation and entirely surrounded by a strip of white sand and a reef that spreads up to 500 m from the shore. The uninhabited paradise location 5 km off the northern tip of Koh Phi Phi Don provides its masked and finned visitors with the feeling of swimming in an aquarium.
Viking Cave
Cruise further to Phi Phi Leh slowly past Viking Cave to see where the Phi Phi birds nest soup are harvested.
Loh Samah Bay At Loh Samah Bay
you can climb from a floating pier over the rocks to an elevated wooden trail which leads to the beach at Maya Bay.
Maya Bay
Here you can touch the white sand and dangle your feet into the turquoise water. You will have approximately one hour to enjoy on one of the most stunning locations in Thailand, and if you lucky you can witness black tip reef sharks swimming in the shallows. Notable rules at Maya Bay include no swimming, no single-use plastics, using reef-safe sunscreen and no use of drones without permission. Please remember that the Mu Koh Phi Phi Marine Park will be closed every year for 2 months during low season.
Pileh Bay
Take spectacular photos of the 600 m long Phileh Lagoon framed by 100 m tall limestone cliffs and snorkel on the east side of Phi Phi Leh on coral reefs with crystal-clear waters.
Monkey Beach
Next stop is Monkey Beach, which is located on the southwestern side of Tonsai Bay. It is a simply stunning 150 m long strip of white powdery sand fringed by emerald water backed by lush vegetation that offers monkeys a comfortable habitat. During low tide you can see a colony of monkeys having their breakfast down on the beach.
Ao Ton Sai
The last stop will be on Phi Phi Don, the larger of the 2 sister islands. Here you can explore the island path of Ton Sai which offers average tourist facilities along the beautiful curved bays of Ton Sai and Loh Dalum Bay . Enjoy a Thai buffet lunch which is served in the restaurant of Phi Phi Cliff Beach Resort.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS TRIP
MAYA BAY (Closed from 1 AUG - 30 Sep due to monsoon season)
Maya Bay is a stunningly beautiful bay that's sheltered by 100-metre high cliffs on three sides. Inside the bay there are several beaches, most are small and some only exist at low tide. The main one is around 200 metres long with silky soft white sand, underwater colourful coral and exotic fish in exceptionally clear water; the whole bay is one big reef.
Maya Bay has become the main tourist attraction of Phi Phi since The Beach was filmed here in 1999. It was always very popular before the film but now people around the world who haven't even heard of Phi Phi have certainly heard of Maya Bay.
